The Food4Climate project explores the relationship between food and adaptation to climate change, proposing practical solutions to reduce the environmental impact of the food system.
Through an informative ebook, the project provides guidance for more sustainable food choices, including recipes that prioritize low-impact ingredients, such as legumes and local, seasonal products. The ebook also addresses practices to reduce food waste and the consumption of ultra-processed foods, encouraging more conscious and responsible eating habits.
In addition to the ebook, Food4Climate includes an educational game designed to teach interactively about the impact of food choices on the climate.
The project culminates in a final event featuring an experimental cooking session, where participants can test and taste one of the ebook’s recipes and try the game. This event aims to educate and engage the Cascais community, fostering reflection on eating habits and encouraging actions that benefit the planet's health.
The project is coordinated and led by Food4Sustainability CoLAB with support from the FundoAdapt Cascais of the Cascais City Council.
